We have a good mix of city and country life in Augusta, Georgia and the CSRA.  I love the amenities that City life brings, but I hope we can save plenty of room for farming and equine activities.  Its also great that we have sheriff’s deputies that are proficient in handling loose horses!

Sheriff’s deputies from the Columbia County, Georgia, Sheriff’s office had to help corrall eight loose horses on Interstate 20 between Grovetown and Harlem Monday afternoon.  Traffic was reduced to one lane after the horses escaped from a pasture on Swint Road.  The horses trotted along the shoulder of I-20 outside of Augusta for about a half hour before the animals were corralled and placed into trailers.
