Ryan Sikes

Senior Paralegal

Ryan Sikes serves as the Senior Paralegal at Chris Hudson Law Group, bringing nearly two decades of legal experience spanning military justice and civil litigation. A combat veteran and disabled veteran of the United States Army, Ryan began his legal career as a Judge Advocate General (“JAG”) Paralegal and served more than 11 years on active duty before retiring as a Staff Sergeant in 2017.

During his Army career, Ryan supported complex military legal matters and spent his final five years serving as a U.S. Army Combat Brigade Military Justice Non-Commissioned Officer in Charge (“NCOIC”). His military service provided a strong foundation in legal procedure, case preparation, leadership, attention to detail, and managing high-stakes matters under demanding circumstances.

Following his retirement from the Army, Ryan transitioned into personal injury law in 2018 and has worked in the field ever since. His experience includes both pre-litigation case management and litigation, with a particular focus on serious personal injury claims. Before joining Chris Hudson Law Group, Ryan held personal injury litigation and legal operations roles with firms including Morgan & Morgan, P.A. and the Law Offices of Gary O. Bruce, P.C.

As Senior Paralegal at Chris Hudson Law Group, Ryan works closely with the firm’s attorneys throughout the life of a case, assisting with case strategy, litigation preparation, discovery, medical and damages documentation, settlement preparation, and the day-to-day management of complex personal injury matters. His combination of military leadership and years of personal injury experience allows him to approach each case with organization, persistence, and a strong commitment to the clients the firm represents.

Ryan attended Liberty University, where his studies focused on Law & Policy.

Ryan and his husband, Micah, moved to the Augusta area in 2023 along with their Shiba Inu, LuLu Lemon. Outside of the office, Ryan has a passion for traveling, reading military history, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.
